What We Are

Hot Wheel Dispatcher LLC is an independent freight dispatching company. We work for owner-operators and small fleets — the drivers who own the truck, carry the risk, and keep too little of what the load actually paid.

We are not a broker. We do not take title to freight, we do not haul anything, and we never sit between you and your rate confirmation. We are your agent: we find the freight, we argue over the price, and you keep the relationship with the broker.

7%
Flat fee on gross line-haul. No signup fee, no monthly subscription, no minimum.
0
Forced dispatch. You have the final say on every single load we bring you.
100%
Direct rate confirmations, issued in your name, showing the real rate.

States covered across our broker and load-board network.

Our Story

Hot Wheel Dispatcher LLC has been dispatching freight since 2022 — four years of watching the same three problems cost good drivers real money, week after week.

Problem one: finding loads that were actually worth running

Drivers were burning hours on load boards after a full day of driving, scrolling through the same picked-over freight everyone else had already passed on. Tired at ten at night, most people take the first thing that roughly fits. That is how a truck ends up running 400 miles for a rate that does not cover the trip once fuel and deadhead come out of it.

Searching for freight is a full-time job. Doing it properly while also driving eleven hours is not realistic, and it was never meant to be.

Problem two: getting the money out

This is the one that quietly does the most damage. A load gets booked, the truck runs it, and then the real work starts — chasing the rate confirmation, sorting out detention that nobody wants to pay, arguing over a lumper receipt, and waiting on a broker who has decided that thirty days means ninety.

Worse, plenty of drivers never found out what the load actually paid. The rate con went to the dispatcher, a number came back, and the difference stayed somewhere in the middle. You cannot argue about a figure you are not allowed to see.

Problem three: running blind on rates and lanes

Most owner-operators are excellent at the job they signed up for — running the truck safely and on time. Very few were ever given the market information that sits behind the job. What does this lane actually pay this week? Is $2.80 a mile strong here, or is it $1.00 under market? If I take this load into that region, is there freight to get me back out, or am I deadheading 200 miles to find the next one?

Without that picture, every booking is a guess. And the driver carries the cost of a bad guess alone.

What we built

Hot Wheel exists to take those three problems off the driver. We do the searching, so nobody is scrolling a load board at midnight. We negotiate the rate and we check the broker's credit before you commit, so the money is more likely to actually arrive. And we bring the lane and market knowledge to the conversation, so you are deciding with information instead of guessing.

The structure follows from that. The rate confirmation goes to you, in your name, with the real number on it — because a driver who cannot see the rate cannot tell whether their dispatcher is working for them. Our fee is a flat 7% of that same number, which means the only way we earn more is by getting you more. And you keep the final say on every load, because it is your truck, your authority, and your risk.

Four years in, that has not changed.

How We Work

🔍

We find the freight

We monitor broker feeds and load boards across the network, filtered to your equipment, your lanes and your target rate per mile.

💰

We negotiate the rate

Posted rates are opening offers. We push them, and because our fee is a percentage of the final number, we are pushing for ourselves too.

🛡

We check the broker first

Free credit checks through Ansonia and TransCredit before you commit. A high rate from a broker who does not pay is not a high rate.

📄

You get the rate con directly

From the broker, in your name, with the real figure on it. Nothing routes through us, so there is nothing for us to shave.

🚫

You can always say no

We present options. You decide. Turning a load down costs you nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you.

🕔

We answer at odd hours

Breakdowns and detention do not keep business hours. Our dispatch desk runs 24/7.

What We Stand For

Three commitments, stated plainly enough that you can hold us to them:

  • Transparent money. 7% of gross line-haul, disclosed up front. No hidden cuts, no margin skimming, no surprise deductions. You see what the load paid because the rate con comes to you.
  • Your truck, your call. Zero forced dispatch is not a marketing line for us. Home time, lanes you refuse to run, rates you will not take — those are your decisions.
  • No contracts holding you hostage. No signup fee, no monthly minimum, no early-termination penalty. If we are not earning our 7%, you should be able to leave, and you can.

You can read all seven guarantees in full on our Carrier Bill of Rights page.

What we will not claim: we cannot promise you a fixed weekly gross, a set number of loads, or a guaranteed rate on any lane. Freight markets move. Anyone promising an owner-operator a guaranteed income from dispatching is selling you something.

Equipment We Dispatch

We book freight for:

  • 53' Dry Van — general freight, the backbone of most operations.
  • 53' Reefer — temperature-controlled produce, protein and pharma.
  • Flatbed and Stepdeck — steel, building materials, machinery. Tarps and securement endorsements matter here.
  • Power Only — drop-and-hook on broker trailers.
  • 26' Box Truck — liftgate freight, retail and residential deliveries, and the lighter LTL-style runs that never need a tractor.
  • Hotshot — expedited smaller loads on class 3-5 equipment.

Specifications, weekly gross targets and the corridors that pay best for each are broken down on our Equipment & Lanes page.

Where We Run

We dispatch across all 48 contiguous states. In practice most of our volume moves through the Southeast, Texas and the Midwest — Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Charlotte, Nashville, Columbus and Savannah come up constantly in our lane mix.

Current market rates and regional diesel prices are on our Market Rates & Fuel page.
